No It is not Stunning. Back in those days Presidents had to work. No time for leisure travel.

It is misleading, makes you think they were insular. Jefferson traveled quite a bit outside the country, surprised me that he did. Franklin and probably all the rest did too. Probably saw more of the real world than any these self-important politicians nowadays have.
