Barrons sometimes gets it right, but IMHO often gets it wrong. Take it with a grain of salt, but realize the article itself may have an effect (or not). Whenever you read a positive or a negative piece about a company you must be aware that the author, the publication, the editors, etc. all have their own agenda. With Jim Cramer, we know he's angry at Ascend because he's lost lots of money with the stock. I would feel the same way. If I were he, I would feel compelled to try to make some of my losses back. But whatever his agenda is, at least he's told us where he's coming from. Barrons wants you to believe its being objective. Hogwash. From overly positive press releases to hatchet jobs, there ain't no such thing as objectivity in this business. Too much money is at stake.
