Well, that was not a very astute observation.

Rumsfeld is the target of criticism from MANY fronts, including his own party AND a great many non-partisan military people. You'd be hard pressed to find many who wouldn't criticize Rummie, now that we've reentered a period of political balance.

Clinton was the target of a conspiracy - as acknowledged by right wing pundits - and accepted responsibility for his only 'illegal action' - lying about an affair.

Will Bush ever accept responsibility for his lies? Fat chance. With Bush, even when he accepts responsibility, he subsequently blames someone else. Witness his news conference today when he blamed the Republican massacre on corruption, when every pundit on both sides say that this rightist debacle was all about Bush's failure in Iraq.
