Seems to me that a critical question that arises from that article is exactly what is the meanng and implication of the paragraph: "Advanced Viral Research, which was established in 1984, has filed an Investigational New Drug application with the FDA. That application is currently on clinical hold, Bregman said. How long ago was the IND filed, and who (and why) was responsible for it being put on "clinical hold"?
