My bet is that they are swamped with all the customers downloading the new DLJdirect software. I think I was the first to download yesterday and accidentally got a beta 4 version of their software!! I just tried logging on 5 minutes ago and everything worked fast. I really like their new DLJdirect final beta version. They have some really nice Zacks earning graphs. I am looking at DLJdirect as a "full service" discount broker. Their software seams to be on track as far as providing a lot of investment information. I hear complaints about most of the discount online broker servers. I am going to give these guys a chance. I believe that with the DLJ name they will move to upgrade their servers. We need to keep them informed about our frustrations. I hope they are listening.
