Henry, thanks for your Posts about why Analysts are Bearish on the Semi-Equips. They have nothing Bad to say about AMAT. Back in their minds they know AMAT is going to release a spectacular earnings report in Nov. Didn't AMAT management made certain recently that they are going to earn more than the expected 1.2B---with still a month to go in the quarter?...They chose to ignore all the good things happening to AMAT, so as a result, the stock is languishing along with those smaller companies they are concerned about. If those smaller companies report lower earnings and AMAT reports the Opposite---is it not possible for them to believe that AMAT may have been gaining market share from those smaller ones?...One thing is certain: Analysts are often times wrong but never gets fired by their companies that benefit whether they are right or wrong!...

Of Interest to me is about how my favorite PsychAnalyst of the Market, Alfred Goldman, sees the stock market going higher after a week of sympathizing with the Bonds!...If Alan Greenspan does not act on higher interest rates on Tuesday, then What?...
