A good point. After all, if a stock was good enough to buy, it should be good enough to buy again.

The flip side of that is the mantra: "never fall in love with your stocks."

I like the idea of owning Intel, except my timing was very poor. I got into it reluctantly, on the advice of an idiot broker, and have looked at nothing but paper losses since, while other stocks I have been tracking have soared 35 to 70% in the same five weeks.

I'll get out of Intel soon, methinks. More a stock for those who have it made than for those who are still trying to make it these days, I believe Intel's prospects for share price growth are modest, at best.

Thank you for helping to clarify my thinking.
