NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 9, 2006 -- Sona Mobile Holdings Corp. (OTC BB:SNMB.OB) today announced that it will demonstrate its Casino On Demand™ wireless gaming solutions with its strategic alliance partner Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ:SHFL) at this year's Global Gaming Expo (G2E) being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, on November 14-16, 2006. The interactive, hands-on display of products will be available at Shuffle Master's booth #1831. Built on the Sona Wireless Platform™ (SWP), an embedded wireless application which enables secure, real-time execution of transactions over cellular or WiFi networks, Casino On Demand enables players to wager remotely from approved public areas of a casino. Featuring a number of popular Shuffle Master proprietary table games including Three Card Poker®, Ultimate Texas Hold'em™ and Let It Ride Bonus® with 3 Card Bonus™, Casino On Demand also includes public domain titles such as Blackjack and two versions of video poker, Jacks or Better and Deuces Wild.
On October 2, 2006, Sona submitted its wireless gaming platform to be tested and certified by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).
The two companies will also demonstrate Vegas Star Wireless™, an extension of the Casino On Demand wireless gaming platform that makes it possible for casinos to increase the number of Vegas Star® multi-player electronic table game player positions with wireless handheld devices rather than additional fixed-position terminals.
"We are excited to present our latest achievements in the wireless gaming area. Shuffle Master is strongly emphasizing alternative ways of providing popular gaming content to casinos and their customers, and our wireless alliance is an important element of this initiative," said Shawn Kreloff, Chief Executive Officer of Sona Mobile. "We see great potential for casinos with our wireless gaming products as an incremental revenue driver and as a way to enhance their customers' gaming experience." |
