I agree. So instead let’s just limit people to a total of 12 years in federal elective office lifetime total. The new blood is not likely to be much better or worse than the old blood.

It seems like learning to do their jobs takes a while, and most would concentrate on that first before learning to get graft. We agree that lobbyists would be Johnny on the spot helping them learn. My observation is that it takes time before politicians become disconnected from the voters enough to just stick their hands out for the cash like Cunningham, Murtha and Jefferson.
