Slan, The honest truth is that I completely missed this first move. My take was we were going to get some softness in the general market and miners might follow a bit. That was clearly incorrect. I should add that I have been preoccupied with my shorts the past month, and those positions are doing very well (add in a nice little bump from MMG and it has been a pretty good month so far). And, I am very pleased my bullion (which is the vast majority of my liquid assets) is worth more today, but not so pleased that my precious GG is running away from me. I have some decisions to make, and fast. I'll post here when I do buy in the miners, but listening to anything I have to say on miners right now would be very counterproductive. I've been wrong the past two weeks and there is no reason to think I'll be right tomorrow. Knowing this keeps me from blowing myself up and losing capital <ng/g> I must say, the action looks very, very good. This was what I wanted to see when the HUI crossed 318 and had that happened, I probably would have loaded up immediately. Good Trading TH
