But in the middle of what the media tell us is a massively unpopular war, the Democrats picked up about 30 House seats and five to six Senate seats in a sixth-year election, with lots of seats still too close to call. Only for half-brights with absolutely no concept of yesterday is this a "tsunami" -- as MSNBC calls it -- rather than the death throes of a dying party.

Ms. Coulter has a dim memory........she forgets that the House under Delay realigned nearly every district to insure a GOP majority in each district. In spite of that HUGE advantage, the Dems prevailed and have gained 29 seats so far and may pick up another 10 that have not been decided.......many of which are in red states. AND the reddish purple states of VA and MT elected Dem senators. Red states like OK, TN and KS have elected Dem governors. In fact, the Democratic party has the most governships in the country. Tuesday was a very blue day!

As for Ms. Coulter, her party is in more trouble than she is willing to admit to. In fact, Ms. Coulter is in more trouble than she knows. With each passing day, she becomes more and more irrelevant.
