Rumsfeld's 'resignation' was a slap in the face of all Americans. Bush wouldn't let him go because it would be seen as an admission of utter failure and be bad for the elections. Bush put the elections before the lives and futures of Americans.

THAT is a slap. Of course keeping that incompetent in office for so long was a much bigger slap.

Nope, the Neocons are ALL YOURS. They're 100% Republican from here to eternity. Just because you've failed doesn't mean you can blame all of your foolishness on them. You supported them, you listened to their nonsense and you went to war using their inane excuses and ridiculous predictions.

Rove is 100% nastiness, lying and cheating. That's his claim to fame and it has worked well for his empty suit bud Dubya. Rove inflicted the likes of Dubya and Delay and the other miscreants on the rest of us so don't try and resurrect his image now.

There is no WIN in Iraq. There's only making the best of a HORRENDOUS REPUBLICAN FAILURE. That's it. There's not win. There's no easy out. There's no budget priced exit. There's none of these things. It will be bloody, expensive and nasty for both Americans and Iraqis.

Having Dems win is a boon FOR REPUBLICANS. Republicans, as is their wont, will now claim that Dems are responsible for everything and start endless whining. I do think it's interesting that Murtha wants to be the Majority Leader. That means, in a time of a stupid war, the US Military gets a voice in the government that was denied it by Republicans.

This is what Republicans do. They mess up royally, they steal like bandits and they expect the Dems to come and clean things up so they can come back to steal again.
