Junior's dead body, correct, Politically speaking GW Bush is basically helpless. Rove has lost. Cheney is indictable. The DElay congress is gone with more indictments to come. Henry Waxman has warehouses full of evidence to use against them. Even Arlen Specter has talked about impeachment. And the evengalicals are publicly shamed due to Haggard's lurid revelations.

The military doesn't support GW. Tony Blair is gone. Our allies are disgusted with Bushies. The press is mad at themselves for ever believing a word Bushies said. The rightwing radio hosts are exposed as lying losers and see their rationgs plummet. The house of cards has fallen.

But way back when, they remember a city on a hill, Reagan's dream, and that's what they are desperately reaching back for. It's all they have left, a broken dream of an America which they themselves defiled.
