Anyone, On a somewhat unrelated topic: Quantel, which makes high end editing hardware and software products for the film/video industry (SGI platform), just announced they will support 3rd party Java enhancements to their systems. Although this is a small developement overall, I wonder if it is indicitive of a trend. Does the fact that the web is UNIX based, create an Achilles heel for M$? Does it create an advantage for other UNIX operating systems? Java? In relation to systems developement? In relation to application developement? Can anyone elaborate? Doren
