HoTMetaL PRO 4.0 will import Word 95 and Word 97 documents directly and convert them to HTML.
It will also follow links between Word 97 documents in the site management tool, the Information Manager.
It creates 100% structurally sound HTML, which means you won't ever be "trapped" by HoTMetaL PRO, because the HTML is not full of proprietary markup.

I've used HoTMetaL PRO for a year or so, now on version 4.0. Very impressed, and as the previous note stated it is IMPOSSIBLE to create structurally wrong documents.
