Oh yes, I have read a lot of Hiassen, I will check out the new one, for sure. One of my favorite authors, Mark Helprin, has a new book out. amazon.com His 'Winter's Tale' & 'A Soldier of the Great War' are two of the best books I have read. His ability to to use metaphor paints a picture in my head like no other author can. I am constantly reading and rereading his work, then thinking "how in the world can he think of this stuff?"
