It won't surprise you to know that I just quit reading him when he kept iterating and reiterating his support for Bush's invasion of Iraq.

That's one reason I wanted to continue reading him.

Before the war he tried to call attention to the risks and challenges we faced. He saw a lot of what we who were opposed saw, but I guess he just hoped against hope the admin was smarter, more prepared than we thought they were. I think he knew in his gut it was a bad idea and just let his ordinary good judgment get clouded by that ol' wishful thinking.

So it was interesting to watch his reaction when what we all had predicted and what he had warned against happened.

GLobal economics is way, way out of my league. I struggled through Flat because I like Friedman and felt I should try. I will have to leave all that to the experts.
Though I may be a good Jane6pack for you all to use to see how the average guy may be seeing things.
