You might be right....but if you had told me twenty years ago, under Goldwater or Reagan as the chief of the party, that a particular political party had created out of control spending, huge deficits, a huge new medicare benefit, scandals involving abuse of power, and interfering in a husband and wife's decision about her life.......I would have bet you a million bucks that political party would have been the democrats.
