Iraq was not the only reason. The exit polls showed voter motivation to be divided among four issues: Iraq, the economy, terrorism and pork. The economy is doing well. Those who voted mainly on terrorism weren't exactly a big component of the Dems win. Pork had an effect. Iraq was the decisive issue. The economy is not doing well for countless people in the middle and the low ends of this economy. That's esp. true for people in the Midwest where the Dems made important inroads. When will you get that threw your thick skulls? I swear to God......I have never met so many people who are so pigheaded and unwilling to listen to possibilities other than the ones they have invented for themselves. The war on terrorism is a joke. The only people who do not know that are the Republicans. Pork had an effect??? Get real! People are nuts over pork and corruption!
