That rotten little kid slapped Nicholas again today. I told Nicholas last week not to hit him again. I'm having second thoughts. I don't know when is the appropriate time to teach a kid how to defend himself. I think this is too early but when its time he's going to be learning from the best. Nick is a southpaw that can use his right hand equally well. Thats a lethal combo. I told my ex wife that I'm not going to raise a coward so I didn't want her to say fighting is never acceptable because as a guy you sometimes have to do battle. Its like a male bonding ritual. But this pisses me off. Instead of saying "never hit" I think I'm going to tell him to respond in whatever way he has to to get this kid to stop hitting. Deep down inside (and I haven't said this to Nick) I kind of hope Nick pounds the hell out of this kid to the extent that he'll never come back looking for more.
