Howard Dean promised, if elected head of the DNC, not to run for President in '08. He just engineered the most impressive victory the DEMs have achieved since 1932, and some people want him to leave?

Look at all the new DEM governors! Look at all the new DEM state legislatures!

The reason people want to get rid of Dean is simple: he is good, and he makes the DC crowd irrelevant (including Carville, who lost every congressional contest he was responsible for).

Since Dean is a man of his word and won't run for President in '08, there is no better person for the job. Period. Let the victories keep coming ... keep Dean in charge.
