It is sort of amusing that you insist that you know how things are working in a state where you don't live. Recently, in one of my classes we read a short story about some hills near Austin.....Black Hills? It was Lyndon Johnson's congressional district........it was the late 1930s I think.....they had no electricity. Their lives sounded like hell.
