I have been thinking about it, and I can see the problem that politicians face. If this is a war with Islamic Terrorists, then politicians seem to be making war against a faction of Islam. If or should I say when, we go to war with Islam, then not only do we have the bad guys to catch, maim, or kill, but we have the "good Muslims" to try and keep safe. If we start simply slaughtering Muslims helter skelter, how will we be any different than Islam. So limiting some of some speech that in any other case would not be acceptable will surely make life easier not harder. One cannot demonize the innocent.
