Pelosi will make sure of it. They don't call her the general for nothing. Can you imagine how much extra money there will be if pork is virtually eliminated? Its not huge but it could help reduce the deficit. lol a liberal from SF cutting pork..... Dude, you really don't understand what a western liberal is all about. Most cities in the West are fairly well run and with the exception of CA so are the states. During the recession, WA state was in trouble. Spending was exceeding income by a healthy amount and the state's slush fund was being drained very quickly. Painful cuts were made within months......those cuts stayed in place for two years and then were slowly lifted over a two year period after revenues started to grow again. Good gov't tends to be the norm out here; not the exception. As for western liberals, they tend to be socially liberal and fiscally conservative......at least those outside of CA. lol Ok, that's a new nuance. SF isn't in California... You don't think MSFT gouging their consumers keeps Washington afloat do you?
