Why PSR works: study of methods that work (O'Shaughnessy)

For definitions, examples, research study, and perhaps ideas for finding potential stock candidates, here's an article in the Washington post by columnist James Glassman about PSR. It features an interview with Mr. O'Shaughnessy, author of "What Works on Wall Street."

You will note Glassman's concerns - they will come up often here I imagine: 1) not really a clear understanding of why it works (although PSR does work), 2)difficulty in finding PSR candidates (already mentioned by Jeff), 3)difficulty in getting "right psr number" (no prob. with stock price... ah but shares outstanding and annual sales... they can be 2 troublesome numbers.)
