Capital Alliance plans one-million-share buyback

2006-10-13 15:37 ET - News Release

Mr. Toby Chu reports

CAPITAL ALLIANCE GROUP INC. ANNOUNCES NORMAL COURSE ISSUER BID

Capital Alliance Group Inc. intends to undertake a normal course issuer bid to buy back up to one million of its common shares representing approximately 2.8 per cent of its issued and outstanding share capital. The issuer bid will be conducted through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The share repurchase is being launched because management is of the view that the company's stock is currently undervalued. It will commence on the first trading day after the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted the filing of the notice concerning the bid and will continue for up to one year. Purchases will be made through Research Capital Corp.

The company previously repurchased 349,500 common shares in a normal course issuer bid which commenced in October, 2005.
