To All.
Just a short update on the Investment in Resources Conference held here in Calgary. There were over 100 companies represented and all were giving out tons of info at their respective booths. I personnally picked up a number of large wall maps showing which companies were mining in such places as Ghana, Northwest Territories, Asia, and Voisey Bay. There were a few rumors floating around and all the representatives had their own views on the price of gold, timing, etc.
I spent some time listening to Bob Bishop, John Kaiser, and Chris Bunka( Chris is the editor of The Outsider's Overture). John Kaiser says he likes the Alberta diamond plays while Bob Bishop likes companies like Gitennes, Almaden, and KRY. He also says to stay away from Desert mining plays. Chris Bunka's only recommendation that I heard was Argentina Gold. I didn't stay for the afternoon session but I brought home enough reading material to last a few weeks! Hope this helps.
