Most Democrats have always been for removing Bush's "Rich Welfare" program.

That's not the platform most of them ran on. Pelosi did state in her "first 100 hrs" fantasy that the tax would be "rolled back" on the "rich." That is a tax increase for the wealthy. So, she has promised to increase taxes from the get go.

Taxing the rich will not rebalance the budget. Simple class warfare tactic by the dems. They state things in this manner to inflame the lower income peoples against the rich.

The message may be fine and necessary, I am not one to talk economics, the method the dems choose to use, sux.
