Many politicians would never run a successful business, never mind having to run a complex country. The US screwed up in Kuwait. Saddam should have been make to know that we would attack if Iraq invaded Kuwait. That was a huge screwup on our part. We screwed up when we told the Shiites and the Kurds to rise up against Saddam, and then pulled our forces back and let Saddam slaughter them. We screwed up not protecting our skies prior to 9/11/2001. We screwed up when Carter allowed the Extremists to take over Iran, instead of backing the Shah. And..... we'll screw up again, probably more so now that the airhead Democrats have more power. We just need to hope that we screw up less than our enemies.
