Any abuser, or just priest? Any level of abuse gets the death penalty? Does a minimal to moderate amount of non-forced sexual contact with a slightly under-aged person deserve such a penalty or just raping children?

I just think that if James Dale had done nothing wrong, he should not have been tossed out of the Scouts...

I can respect your opinion on that. But do you think the BSA should be forced to accept him? You do recognize that its a big jump from "should accept him" to "should be forced to accept him", right?

As for the Girl Scouts thing, there are lots of Lesbians in the world. A closer analogy would actually be single women.

A lot in total, but a small percentage. I don't think single women is at all a close analogy. Its much further away. Perhaps single women who are openly lesbian would be better in the analogy then hetero-sexual single men, but even then I'm not so sure. I believe its reasonable established then men are more likely to be sexual abusers then women.
