Isra'El has created a nuclear weapons escalation in the Middle East. Iran has signed onto the NPT (Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty), Isra'El has not and will not. Isra'El also refuses to allow U.N. inspectors into their nuclear facilities, particularly at Dimona.

If you were surrounded by folks who possess nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver them, would you not want to protect yourself.

For the United States government to have a hypocritical, dual standard policy vis-a-vis Iran and its nuclear program, creates an unjust policy that is being seen by the rest of the world as more of America's bullying posture.

"Russia warned on Saturday against "any attempt to use the Security Council to promote the idea of regime change" in Iran. On the same day, the USS Eisenhower carrier strike force entered the Persian Gulf, joining two other carrier groups already steaming off the Iranian coast. Two paraphrases of William Shakespeare occur to me: The Russian doth protest too much, and Frailty, thy name is Tehran."
