"Ratings on missed votes" wasn't what my post was about, and it wasn't from your posts at all. It was one possible example I came up with of how your more general idea could be implemented. I find it to be a relatively useless idea, but I didn't portray it as your idea, or say it was the only possible item on any report card for members of congress or other politicians. I even went ahead and asked you about what criteria you could use.

"...Such as the number of scandals one is involved in, number of votes missed, constituent requests satisfied, etc..."

I could come up with a list of things that I think are important to such a congressional rating scale, but that would only result in arguments of why MY list of factors wouldn't work instead of a collaborative list of things that might work.

The question is, is some sort of congressional rating system that Congress would impose upon itself be a useful thing? Rather than telling me the problems with implementing such a system, are there any ideas about whether such a system would be an improvement on the current way of electing congress people?

Can we at least TRY to be constructive?
