But cutting aid from Israel won't happen because it is generally felt by many Congress and Senate folks that doing so would be tantamount to offending God. Hhhmm, er, I mean offending the God of Israel. If this is not the case, then the politicians are afraid of offending

1. AIPAC (American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee) which often has the clout to make them or break them

and of offending

2. Fundamentalist Christians who constitute (1/4) of the electorate.
