Me too! I'm against global warming, but I've invested in oil companies several times, and no doubt will again, perhaps immediately. SOMEONE is going to reap those inevitable profits, it might as well be me ( and my funder, George S.! ).

Then, I can donate some of those profits to politicians against global warming..

It's called being reality based. Ideology is no basis to be an investor, although I suppose you could feel "noble" about your losses.

I can understand Soro's oil play, but the AMD play? What does he know?
