The economics of illegally paid immigrants is more complex than that. Most spend 100% of their wages, with most going to legitimate businesses. That cycles the money through the tax system generating cascading multiple layers of income, employment and sales taxe receipts.

As much as I would prefer to rubber stamp the idea of unreported cash employment being a burden on society, it is fuzzier than that.
