specialist... i always enjoy your succint analysis; and, yes, i recognize the validity here. i believe anyone investing in cutting edge technology must by definition understand the notion of half-lives. it is neither a business, nor an investment for anyone who may be easily lulled into a complacent state of mind. i enjoyed the discussion there, such as it was, as i enjoy reading about photonics, or fiber optics...embedded microprocessors ( one of the sexier areas in my humble opinion) or, even, argon fluoride lasers. maybe the notion of materials is what attracts me to VTSS. anyway, i thought you might be interested in knowing about the thread... found this today: techweb.cmp.com regards, randy
