Our divergence on this may be more with the tools we use to describe our enemy. I prefer a scalpal, you seem comfortable with a broad brush... overly broad IMO.
What you seem to me to fail to understand is that I would stand up for Muslims rights, if I saw ANY evidence of Muslims standing up for anyone elses rights. The only Muslims I have met, threaten people, slash tires, vandalize facilities, and even took over the public room in the condo project to build a Mosque, in direct contravention of the law, stealing the space from the rest of the people in the building. They took over the "party room" made it into a Mosque, and then took other people's unused parking spaces and gave them to outsiders to use for Mosque parking. They then collected money for the Mosque from every Muslim family, even though they took the rooms over and paid no rent on them.
So in my personal experience, most Muslims have approached me and my family, without any respect for me as a person, and with every intention of theft, fraud and where necessary violence.
