I did think about it.

But when I was looking at the live stream data, January looked way sluggish compared to December (wide spread between bid and ask just sitting there for a long time), and I wanted the option of quick profit taking in the next week.

Wish there was a way to track real time volume on ecbot. I assume volume is light in the east coast early morning hours, after Hong Kong and Australia have closed but before London has opened, when the only people trading are doing it electronically via NY Access and Chicago Ecbot. If those thinly traded extremes were factored out, I wonder if you'd get a better sense of the metals actual present trading range.

But I suppose that's what the shared London New York times are supposed to establish.
