I would obviously debunk as false the common notion you seem to hold, that pot smokers act and speak like they are burned out on downers or alcohol. Cheech and Chong at least, were characters who ingested pretty much any drug, and as such my experience says these characters are not at all wholly unrealistic. I know folks like that, and if you call them losers, and I'd not quibble. Anecdotal evidence may seem worthless here, yet if you've spent time around common folks who typically "merely" drink and smoke weed daily, I'm sure you would have found that weed smokers simply don't start speaking like Tommy Chong or Sean Penn's characters after indulging. Re your sarcasm: "Those losers woulda been losers anyway." Not a point of mine, and its very premise, i.e. pot smokers as "losers," is not established nor accepted here. Absent evidence that pot affects folks as popular comedic culture suggests, you can realize that other factors and/or drugs in fact DO affect people that way. Dan B.
