I don't intend offense....you're not the sort of customer Covad needs. I would bet that consumer (especially at $30) is a money losing business for them. Covad has survived because it has shifted away from the consumer business, which it is poorly positioned to serve profitably.

It seems as if you think Covad is a consumer-focused company, and its inability to solve your problems and satisfy you imply it will fail. But the first isn't the case and the second doesn't follow IMO.

I hope your QWEST service is better than Covad's was. OTOH, I'd be disappointed to see Covad seek out $22/mo accounts like yours...they'd probably be taking a bath on them. I hope they stay focused on business, perhaps making an exception for higher priced consumer bundles sold by resellers, for which they can get higher ARPU. Low-grade consumer DSL is an area I hope they avoid.

PS: I still don't get why your wireless network issues are Covad's problem.
