Many pinks have several BILLION shares authorized and outstanding.... So in relation to others they have exactly what I stated .... A SMALL FLOAT ...
for any who care to read my reasoning .... and how I made 400% plus in 24 hours with them ....here you go ...

All I know is that I made over 400% in a day on FDSM a few months ago and based on the price movement and the volume I concluded either rightly or wrongly that their must be a fairly small float ... price spiked over $1.87 from about .40 cents very fast ...
