If the state and taxes, looks after all lifetime costs from foolishness or accident,then they have the right to dictate.
In America these types of laws are less restrictive,for if you bash in your mellon not wearing a helmet, you risk losing everything you have worked for, if uninsured.
In Canada we have a public health care system supported by taxes and the state, so we have laws on seat belt use,helmet laws..4 wheeler, motorcycle, bicycle,safe driving courses for young people,boater exams and restrictions for young people, gun laws by the dozen, on and on, largely i believe to ease costs to the health care system.Many situations come down toWHO PAYS? |
