"There is certainly no 'killing and processing' of babies to extract embryonic stem cells. None whatsoever."

I believe the dispassionate term is extract (or harvest). They extract the cells. So if you extract my heart for transplanting into another human without my consent while I am alive would that qualify as 'killing and processing' or would it just be extracting?

"Embryos are cells that are alive"

They are a complete genetic blueprint for a human. They result from an ovum being fertilized by spermatozoa (human embryos). In the case of adult stem cells, harvesting or extracting them does not generally result in the termination of further growth as an independent organism.
