Re: Saudi Arabia - they maybe somewhat rotten, but the opposition is weak, divided and can be bought off.

Contrast with many places that what strong, well organized opposition, like Yugoslavia, three factions in Iraq, Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Also, I wonder how much of our perception that the Saudi government and/or royals are rotten is based on western prejudices and envy of their great wealth.
