The piece on NBC you refer to is the same story that appeared in USA Today
on a Monday a few weeks ago. This national exposure, as it has been put
on this thread, is being fabricated by someone. The question is who is
publicizing Nevada and the fact that Nevada is the world's third largest
producer of gold?

It is a publicity campaign, but initiated and controlled by who? And for what
purpose? In the news piece Newmont (sp?) was mentioned and some guy who
had the "vision" to "see" the microscopic gold in the rock. I wonder
if any of these producing gold mines in Nevada have threads on SI. Anyone
know?
