Because somewhere in the Muslim world, someone is telling Muslims how evil Christianity is. They'll take examples from the Bible, such as Lot offering his daughters to a crowd bent on rape, or how the Israelites killed everyone in Jericho - including, for some bizarre reason, all the animals. They'll point to the bloody history of Christianity, and the millions killed seemingly at its behest. They'll point out how current Christians have slaughtered Muslims, like the thousands killed in Bosnia, seemingly right under the eyes of Christian nations who did nothing substantial to stop the murders. They'll point to our fiasco in Iraq, and how we've 'helped' so many Iraqis into early graves, while at home we praise how we 'fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here'. They'll make a great, but flawed, argument that this all adds up to 'Christianity as a Death Cult'.
And they'll be just as dead wrong as those here who say the same of Islam. |
