"- The fact that the attempt to stamp out its use has been expensive and unsuccessful for a long time." The state pulled something like 1.65 million plants out of my county this year. We were only 3rd in Calif. Somebody was killed in the Mendocino National Forest, and hunters were given warnings by the rangers. Pot plantations in the back country of the Sierras; losing our national parks to pot growers cuz it is profitable. Make it legal, no profit, no problems. Almost all, or all, of the big scenes on federal and state land appears to be Mexican Mafia, opearated by illegals. Not too many Mom and Pop ops. They are pretty experienced; have learned how to do it without getting caught, and they keep it small. Maybe it's time to end the war.
