So can SR - another 20% today.

London 16 November 2006 – SR Pharma plc (the Company) announces that
following the recent placing of shares, it was notified yesterday of the following
interests in SR Pharma plc Ordinary Shares of 1p each:

1. FMR Corp. and its direct and indirect subsidiaries and Fidelity International
Limited and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, both being non-beneficial holders,
hold 11,304,331 SR Pharma plc Ordinary Shares, representing 10% of the issued
share capital of the Company.

2. AIM Realisation Fund Limited are now interested in 3,947,826 SR Pharma plc
Ordinary Shares, representing 3.49% of the issued share capital of the Company.

Also, following the increase in issued share capital, the Company has been notified
that Man Financial Limited no longer has a notifiable interest in the shares of the
Company.

The Company currently has an issued share capital of 113,043,315 Ordinary Shares of
1p each.
