I just read Bill's post and the link. It had some interesting facts which support my previously expressed opinions. 72% support medical marijuana legalization but only 23% support total legalization. That illustrates why those pushing medical marijuana should decouple the issue from the total legalization issue. If the two issues were successfully decoupled, medical marijuana would likely be legal nationwide as the support for it is strong.
