You remembered wrong.

The point is that we cannot reverse the trend of global warming. All we can do is slow it down or at least stop the acceleration of the trend. Either way we're going to have to adapt, but the whole notion of a "point of no return" is bogus.

All you want to do, of course, is argue against straw men. Remember what you said about the Marshall Islands?
